Samoa Arts And Cultural Centre Receives Special Visitor

The Chinese Vice Premier, Mr. Hu Chunhua, paid a special visit yesterday to the Samoa Arts and Cultural Centre, inside the Malifa School compound.

Construction started last year, with the building spread out over the full size of a school rugby field.

The Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, accompanied the Chinese leader, to jointly mark the completion of the structural construction phase of the building.

Tuilaepa Gives Re-launched SNDP Winning Tips

The Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi did more than reach out a hand in the resurrection of the Samoa National Development Party or SNDP, during the week.

He also tipped off the organisers of the former opposition party on how to dethrone his ruling Human Rights Protection Party, HRPP.

Tuilaepa was invited to deliver the keynote speech at the re-launching of the political party at the Tuutuuileloloto Hall on Wednesday.

Man Who Confessed To Conspiracy May Be Called In As State Witness

The man who confessed in the Supreme Court to charges of conspiracy to murder the Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, may be called in as a state witness.

Taualai Leiloa pleaded guilty to two conspiracy charges and will be sentenced at the end of the month on the 30th of September 2019.

Tight PM Security While In Australia

A tighter security is anticipated while Prime Minister Tuilaepa is visiting Australia, to add more cheer to the Manu Samoa against the Wallabies, in last night’s World Cup warm up international.

The Commissioner of Police, Fuiavailili Egon Keil, assured all necessary security measures is taken by the host country, for the security of the Prime Minister.

Extradited As A PM Murder Plot Suspect Or Give Police Evidence?

The Commissioner of Police, Fuiavailili Egon Keil, has confirmed attempts to extradite from Australia, Mr. Tala Pauga, in connection with on going investigations into an alleged conspiracy to murder Prime Minister Tuilaepa.

Fuiavailili did not confirm whether Pauga is the fourth suspect in the alleged murder plot except the local police and its Australian counterparts are working together.

God Decides Life and Death - PM

Faith in the overriding will of God has left the Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, unconcerned by any plot to have him killed.

His reaction on national radio yesterday, was the first time he has responded publicly to an alleged murder conspiracy on his life.

 “ God has already worked out the time a person dies and how,” he recalled his response to a similar threat made on his life more than a decade ago.
